In the old courts the jester was the only one allowed to say what everyone else was thinking. That’s the job description. Lil Joker raps the room out loud — the unpaid bills, the group-chat politics, the city that takes more than it gives — and makes it land like a punchline so you don’t notice it’s a confession until the second listen.
The deck is the whole grammar. Every release is a card: the Straight Face mixtape was the opening hand, the Laughing Stock EP turned the joke inward, and the singles — Dealer, Smile Now, and now Wild Card— keep raising the stake. Smile now, cry later isn’t a tattoo flash here; it’s the thesis.
Live, it’s small rooms on purpose. The Wild Card Tour runs twelve clubs across North America in Fall 2026 — close enough to see the whites of the crowd’s eyes, loud enough that nobody checks their phone. Three rooms are already gone.
